Switch up the coffee
Coffee is usually my morning ritual but if you’re pregnant it’s kind of a no-go. There’s some good caffeine-free coffee options but I actually found that for a good part of my pregnancy I couldn’t stomach the smell or taste of coffee at all.
Anti sickness
Mint tea is perfect for a refreshing brew any time of day, especially if you’re feeling a little poorly. Here I’ve added strawberries as well for a little extra sweetness for Summer but you don’t need to. It’s perfect just with mint or you could try adding other things – lemon, ginger, peach…?
Customise
You can make a few different ways. I have some nice loose mint tea that I put in my teapot or cup infuser. You can also get mint tea bags or if you can buy/grow your own mint just add that and make your own. Then add some chopped strawberries and let it infuse for 5-10 minutes. If you’re using loose tea or a tea bag follow their infusion time.
Iced mint tea
I like to have a cup of this hot in the morning and then strain the rest and put it in the fridge to enjoy cool later. Its nice as an iced tea or could even be the base for a mocktail or smoothie later in the day.

- 1 small bunch fresh mint
- 1 small handful strawberries
- water
- Boil a pot of water
- Tear some fresh mint and cut the strawberries
- Add both to the pot with the water and leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes
